Completing the Overland Track in a day is one of Australia’s great ultrarunning challenges. However, the logistics involved can add an extra level of difficulty. Wilderness Expeditions provides a package of transport, accommodation and support that is designed by experienced runners and tailored to the needs of your group.

The 3-day basic package includes transport from Hobart to Cradle Mountain, accommodation at Cradle Mountain, gear transfer from Cradle to Lake St Clair, contingency plans/flexible pickup, accommodation at Lake St Clair and transport from Lake St Clair to Hobart.

1-3 people $1600
4-5 people $1800
8-10 people $2000

Optional services include catering before and after your run, a food drop at New Pelion Hut and an overnight gear stash at Narcissus.  Prices will vary for these additional extras.

Please ensure you contact us well in advance to secure dates for your trip. If you are planning on running the Overland between October and May, you will need to book your places and pay track fees through Parks and Wildlife (https://parks.tas.gov.au/explore-our-parks/cradle-mountain/overland-track).

*This is not a guided tour. The Overland Track Running Package is a transport and logistical service only, and Wilderness Expeditions has no responsibility for your safety while you are out on the track.
