Our self-guided tour is an option over summer months, for those groups (two or more) who have done some research and are confident in their own abilities to complete more established track walks without a guide. The package is available for most of our easier track-walks. A popular choice minimising the logistics & need for planning on your behalf.

  • Personal clothing layers, walking footwear/ items on equipment list.
  • Guiding Staff (while walking)

* Meals are available pre-packaged from many outdoor stores and commercial outlets. It is also possible, and cheaper, to source everyday items from supermarkets that are suitable for carrying (long shelf life and minimal water content). Rather than try to cater for food and the vast variance of tastes and cooking skill and effort, we will give you a menu sample and can help with suggestions based on what you prefer. We’ll give some links to commercial products you can order.

Food drops
Pre-prepared food packages can be sent to meet you mid-way along some tracks, thereby lightening your carried weight. They are usually limited to larger groups due to cost, especially that for more remote locations. Prices by negotiation.
